With the Telekinesis spell it is possible for the mage to manipulate items from afar, even through walls. This way, one can activate levers and switches that are normally unreachable. Note however that the spell has two drawbacks:

  • First, it only works on inanimate objects; living beings are not effected by it.
  • Second, it can only manipulate things with a basic movement. It can loosen the wrinch in a drawbridge but it's impossible to do any finer work from afar.

Among the oldest spells in existence, Teleklnesls was widely misused in the moronic entertainments of traveling theater. Nevertheless, It is a valuable addition to any spellbook when a mage desires to manipulate an object from afar. It is quite natural that an experimenting mage might try to telekinese a living creature, yet this spell is not suitable for such a task, which Grlmwar discovered a fortnight ago. His anger has yet to cool at the loss of this scroll without the repayment of laughter at the expense of another.
