Create Automaton is spell to reanimate an automaton.
Spell Description[edit]
If a broken automaton is found, it can be repaired with Create Automaton, essentially serving as a Resurrect spell for these machines. The automaton then is reprogrammed to serve the caster. The name notwithstanding, this spell can only repair automatons; not create new ones. The spell originates with the Ophidians, but was lost along with their civilization. The mage Torrissio rediscovered it years later and assumed credit for its invention. He was willing to sell the spell to others, while jealously guarding another, Create Soul Prism, for the creation of new automatons.

Trivia[edit]
- The spell can be used to resurrect Petra, which is an alternative to calling on the monks to resurrect her.
- The original name of the spell was Animate Automaton, thus being more accurate at describing its function. The name was changed during development.
