While going into battle prepared is always a good thing, it can't hurt to make sure that bad luck is on the enemy's side. With Mass Curse, the enemy is easier to hit, while at they are left struggling to hit the mage's party in return, as bad luck is now on the foes side. The difference to the lower Curse spell is that this incarnation can curse all the foes visible at the same time.

Mass Curse
Reduces the effectiveness or armour, as well as the prowess and intelligence of all nearby beings, friend and foe alike.
This spell is similar to the Third Circle spell Curse, but it affects an entire group of the mage's enemies.
This spell acts like the Third Circle spell Curse, but affects all opposing creatures present.
