Valor is a runic spell that increases the caster’s combat skill.

Spell Description[edit]

Valor can be used to mystically enhance a mage's prowess in combat, lending him proficiency in arms that he might not otherwise possess. It was developed by Zogith, a magically-inclined prisoner of the Pits of Carnage, who would gladly teach it to the Avatar, after providing assistance with the condemned man’s battle tactics and in locating a Flam rune stone.[1]

This spell increases the caster’s combat statistics significantly. Specifically, a weapon skill is increased by 10, plus one per 5 points of casting skill.

Trivia[edit]

  • Mechanically, this spell increases weapon skills by 20%.
  • A Cowl of Valor may be found in the sewers of Britannia which grants its user the effects of the Valor spell when worn.
