Dispel Magic is an alternative to curing spells.

Spell Description[edit]

This spell is very similar to the Cure spell, but more versatile. Like Cure, it cures poison and bodily malfunctions like paralysis brought by Paralyze, but also can awaken and – most importantly – can also dispel evil magics, such as Charm, that were placed on that person.

This spell only works on a single person. To apply the effect to an entire party, Mass Dispel is needed.

Lore[edit]

Removes a sorcerous enchantment or poison which causes illness and bondage. Also awakens a person under the influence of a sleep spell.
