The spell Telekinesis allows the mage to generate remote physical force.
Spell Description[edit]
With the Telekinesis spell it is possible for the mage to manipulate items from afar, even through walls. This way, one can activate levers and switches that are normally unreachable. However, this spell lacks versatility. For one, it only works on inanimate objects; living creatures are not affected by it. Also, it does not afford the fine motor skills that a mage’s natural hands might. It can loosen a winch in a drawbridge but more complex movements are impossible.

Trivia[edit]
- In Ultima VII, this spell can used to circumvent certain tasks, such as in Buccaneer's Den the Avatar can use Telekinesis to flip a switch which allows access to the backroom of the local Fellowship branch. The natural means to do this is by influencing Sintag with small cube.
- This spell is needed to enter the Orrery of the Observatory in Ultima VII, as this is the only way to reach the switch that lowers the drawbridge.
- Using this spell in the room puzzle at the Shrine of Balance in Ultima VII Part Two makes that nasty puzzle a lot easier.
