Animate endows inanimate objects with life.
Spell Description[edit]
Casting the spell Animate on an inanimate object will cause it to "come to life", in that it will wander around and react to outside influences. Furthermore, this newly incarnated device will retain many of its properties; for example, a lightning wand may still throw dangerous lightning bolts on its own.

- This spell can be exploited to replicate multiple pieces of powerful items such as weapons or armour. Since the objects to which it is applied are deemed alive, they can then be subjected to the Clone spell.
- The spell was omitted from the C64-port of Ultima VI.
