Replicate is a spell used to copy simple objects.
Spell Description[edit]
Casting Replicate on a simple, inanimate object – meaning nothing plot relevant – will create a perfect copy of said object. In a way it is the object or inanimate equivalent to Clone. This is useful in many ways; for example, to create powder kegs from one single keg in the mage's possession, or to create multiple torches. However, the spell cannot copy anything magical or too valuable, nor can it copy money like the False Coin spell can do.

Trivia[edit]
- The exact limitations are, that neither can the spell copy magical items, nor can it replicate stackable items (like reagents, gold or nuggets).
- The spell was omitted from the C64-port of Ultima VI.
- The spell's limitations can be circumvented with a trick, by instead using a combination of the spells Animate and Clone, which allows replication of any item.
