Help is a spell that will transport the caster’s party away from a battlefield to safety.

Spell Description[edit]

In a case where a group of adventurers is being overwhelmed by an insurmountable enemy, Help is the last resort. Once cast, the mage's party is completely healed, which will include resurrection, as necessary, and the hapless warriors will be transported to the safety of Castle Britannia. However, there is a cost. Although it is said to only work once, the spell can be used multiple times. After the first use, however, experience will be deducted from the caster, making this a painful choice.[Citation needed]

Lore[edit]

When all is lost and death seems certain, this spell quickens the user's demise and resurrects him and his party before the Throne of Britannia.
This spell resurrects the mage and his party and teleports them to Lord British's castle, where they will be fully healed. Remember that this spell is usable only once by any mage.

Trivia[edit]

  • If the Avatar dies in Ultima VI, then the spell Kal Lor (same as this spell) is cast by Lord British and carries a much smaller experience penalty.
