Levitate is a runic spell that causes a mage to levitate but horizontal motion is reduced.
Spell Description[edit]
Levitate allows a spellcaster to uplift his form vertically into the air, although only to hover over the fixed point on the ground where the spell was invoked. Such magic can help a canny mage to bypass otherwise insurmountable obstacles or to ascend to hard to reach ledges. The spell would later find entry into the normal Britannian spell system.

Trivia[edit]
- The spell is cast two different ways from two different circles in Ultima Underworld and Ultima Underworld II. In UW1 it is a 4th circle spell cast as hur por and in UW2 it is a 3rd circle spell cast as uus hur por.
