Dispel Rune is a runic spell that dispels menacing runes.

Spell Description[edit]

Floating magical runes are a significant danger, as they can burn or paralyze their victims. However, there are countermeasures available. This incantation removes instances of these spells such as the Rune of Flame or Rune of Stasis, unweaving their magic and allowing the caster to safely pass through areas warded by such enchantments.

Trivia[edit]

  • It is also possible to bypass the runes by hurling an object into them, although such items will be damaged and possibly destroyed in the process. Pieces of refuse or gold coins (which have no mechanical damage ratings), however, may be employed to disarm wards without the loss of valuable supplies.
