Map Area is a runic spell that causes the surroundings to be mapped.
Spell Description[edit]
The Avatar could deduce the composition of this spell by examining the remains of an exploratory party who had died in the ice caverns of Anodunos. Using this enchantment, the hero could cause an accurate depiction of the immediate area to appear on a map, allowing magical insight into the surroundings. This is especially useful after a teleport gone awry, together with the Locate spell.
