Locate is a runic spell that marks a map with the caster’s current location.

Spell Description[edit]

This spell functions to curtail disorientation experienced by a caster in a unfamiliar locale, such as might potentially be caused by the use of teleportation. After casting the spell, the magician's current location is marked on his map, assisting in navigation and facilitating a return to familiar territory. Locate may be used to good effect in conjunction with the spell Map Area to fill in the area of the map to which the caster teleported.

Details to the spell are found in old scripts in the city of Anodunos.

Lore[edit]

Many teleportals in the game cause you to become lost: your auto-map stops working until you can find your way back to a location where you have been before. This spell negates that effect.
