Treasure Cove is a remote area of Morgaelin seen in Ultima VIII.
Description[edit]
Of this remote and difficult to reach area, little is known, apart from the rumors that there are many riches waiting, thus the name.[Citation needed] However, the Avatar managed to find a vast system of underground tunnels under the Treasure Cove, which ultimately led the hero to the legendary Slayer weapon. The tunnels were entered through a hole south of the Cemetery inside a ruined house, and a teleporter at the end of the tunnels led back to the outside.
Trivia[edit]
- The only way to even realize one is in Treasure Cove is to use the spell Divination.
- Treasure Cove can only be visited once. The Avatar cannot fall into the hole a second time, thus the needs to get the Slayer on the first attempt.
