In the wake of the Great Cataclysm the Channel of Lost Hope was created.
Description[edit]
In the wake of the catacylsm, the waters of Lost Hope Bay and Lock Lake joined together, forming the new Channel of Lost Hope, destroying the village of Cove in the process by flooding. The channel separates the mainland from what remains the the eastern land mass, on which Cove and Minoc were rebuilt, thus making communication and trade quite difficult.

Trivia[edit]
- The channel was already part of the plans from the very first concept, as seen in the gallery below. However, unlike the final plot, where next to all of the land east of the channel was lost, the original plans were much less severe.
