The Sword of Poison Weapon is an enchanted blade found in the ruins of Anodunos. It appears in Ultima Underworld II.
Description[edit]
This sword (like the poison daggers of Britannia) delivered a deadly venom to whomever it struck, allowing its wielder to retreat to safety, while leaving opponents to die a slow death. Found in the remnants of the one proud city where Beatrice reigned, this weapon (and presumably its owner) fell prey to the ravages of the Guardian's magics and lay buried for centuries under a sheet of ice. Should the Avatar discover it, it would be badly damaged and in need of immediate repair.

- The same effect can be accomplished on any weapon temporarily with the spell Poison Weapon.
