Powerful birds of prey, hawks were utilized in Britannian combat in Ultima VII.
Description[edit]
Avid hunters of smaller prey, hawks are naturally endowed with razor sharp beak and claws, and possess keen intellect. During the time of Ultima VII, the druid Jaana was willing to employ her avian companion in combat alongside the Avatar. The fearless creature would lash out at unsuspecting foes, and return unharmed to its perch on the druid's arm.
Effectiveness of the Weapon[edit]
- In Ultima VII, a hawk has a damage rating of "5" and a range of "17". It never misses.
Trivia[edit]
- In modern falconry, the red-tailed hawk and Harris hawk are frequently used as birds of prey.
