The Ophidian sword was given to the Avatar by Xenka shortly before travelling to the Shrine of Balance. It appears in Ultima VII Part Two.
Description[edit]
The sword does not have any special powers, besides being the strongest one-handed sword on the Serpent Isle. Of highest importance is the fact that it is the only weapon that can send the Great Earth Serpent back into the Void. It is impossible to win without this sword.
Effectiveness of the Weapon[edit]
- In Ultima VII Part Two, this sword does have a damage rating of "12", making it the best one-handed weapon available (apart from Erinon's Axe).
Trivia[edit]
- On the paperdoll, this and the serpentine sword look exactly alike.
- There is a bug that can happen, causing Xenka to not give the sword. That happens when not entering the small chamber with the Serpent Staff in Furnace.
