The Axe of Life Stealing is a magical weapon which transfers the life energies of those it strikes to whoever wields it. It appears in Ultima Underworld II.
Description[edit]
The Life Stealing could be found in the blackest reaches of the Ethereal Void's Purple Zone, where the primordial darkness first was given form and begat material reality. Here, in a maze fashioned of crude white lines, the Avatar could discover this enchanted axe behind an illusionary wall.[1] Upon wielding it, the hero would discover that the evil weapon sapped the vitality of its victims and transferred it to whoever held its haft, thus healing injuries.

- For an unknown reason, it is also called Axe of Life Stealer once in the Ultima Underworld II Clue Book.
