The Axe of Fire Doom is a powerful weapon which appears in Ultima Underworld II.

Description

Studded with jewels, this finely crafted axe is able to summon a sea of flames when its wielder swung it, engulfing everything around it in deadly fire. So potent is this weapon, that its user is at risk of being consumed within the inferno it created, making it wise to employ flameproofing magic or armour when brandishing it.

This enchanted weapon could be found amongst the treasures of the secure vault which the magicians of Scintillus Academy had suspended in the Ethereal Void. The vault can be reached from Scintillus Academy level 8.
