Receiving the jeweled sword and shield from Thrud

Jeweled weapons could be obtained from Thrud in Windemere, but only after joining the Oppression. They appear in Ultima V.

Description

Thrud demanded the password of the Resistance in exchange for them. Despite the high price paid for the weapons, these supposedly fabulous swords turned out to be completely useless in combat.

Trivia

• In Ultima Underworld and Ultima Underworld II jeweled weapons are available in several varieties (axe, mace and sword). These are apparently unconnected to the ones found in Ultima V, and are very good weapons.
