Ultima VII Part Two cheat rooms
The Ultima VII Part Two cheat rooms are three separate rooms full of useful items and copies of plot-relevant items that are very helpful to a cheating Avatar.
Description[edit]
The use of these rooms is clear: to allow players to bypass conventional solutions to solve the crisis of the Imbalance. The three different rooms have very different ways to access them and very different contents.
Claw Isle[edit]
The first cheat room is on Claw, in the passages in the mountains there. Go to Monitor and find a small park with a path leading through it shaped like an inverted letter U. There are two trees at the southeast corner. Drop two crates or chests two paces north and one west of the southernmost tree, as the teleporter is on a higher z-level, then drop another one next to them to act as a step. See also the screenshot in the gallery how to do it correctly. This opens access to the teleporter to Claw, where many items are found in a cave.
The inventory is impressive:
- The master key, which acts like a never-breaking lockpick.
- Many plot items (all three Blackrock Serpents, the Eyes of the Serpent, the Everlasting Goblet, half of the Serpent artifacts and many others).
- Many magical weapons (5 Glass swords, Lightning whip, Firedoom staff, Magic sword, Fire sword, 4 Infinity bows).
- Four sets of Magic armour, only missing the helmets.
- Various other armour (4 red cloaks, 4 Viking helms, 4 Magic shields).
At the exit of the caves on Claw, there is a teleporter back to Monitor.
Erstam's Storage Rooms[edit]
The second cheat room is accessible from the vicinity of Moonshade. In the woods outside the walls, west of the Lake of Magic there is Stefano’s old house. Just east of the house is a tree stump at 81°S 101°E. Drop a crate or chest next to the stump (see screenshot in the gallery) to act as a step, and walk up onto it to be teleported.
The Avatar will arrive on a small island with a chest and a magic axe. Don't use the teleporter. Instead go to the easternmost point on the island and walk north. There is an invisible pathway across the water which leads, after a few twists and turns, to a set of caverns in the Isles of the Mad Mage, which contain quantities of reagents, and a selection of every available non-unique magic weapon. The key to the locked chamber in the cheat room is found inside the structure in the swamp south of Gorlab Swamp, partially covered by the southern wall in the western of the two structures.
The inventory is impressive:
- 100 of each reagent for magic, of the reagents for Serpent Lamps and of stoneheart.
- 5 Powder kegs.
- All remaining plot items (the otherhalf of the Serpent artifacts, Batlin's Fellowship medallion).
- Many magical weapons (Lightning whip, Firedoom staff, Magic sword, Fire sword, Magic bow,, Sword of Defense, Lightning wand, Fire wand, Juggernaut hammer, Magic axe).
- 100 of each type of magical ammunition.
- One set of Magic armour, with the shield but missing the boots.
- Various other armour and clothes(one of each armour).
- One of each potion.
The teleporter on the small island links back to the house outside Moonshade.
The Football Field[edit]
The third cheat roomis found in Moonshade. The wall under the stairs of Pothos’ shop opens leading to stairs to lead down. With a key from his shop, a door downstairs, after a secret door and an invisible corridor, is opened, and leads in the end after a teleporter to a football field, complete with cheerleaders and the opposing team. At the end are many good items, but nothing plot relevant.
The rooms contais:
- Lightning whip
- Fire sword
- Magic leggings, boots and gauntlets.
The teleporter however, is broken, and you need to get killed to get out.

- The cheerleaders found on the football field (as well as in the second cheat room), are in the colors from the Dallas Cowboys, which is little wonder, since Origin has has their headquarters in Austin, Texas.
