The Farmer's Market of Britain is a collection of food vendors gathering on Park Square to sell their goods to the public. Operating in the days of Ultima VII, the market serves as a primary source of agricultural produce to local private citizens and restaurateurs alike.
Description[edit]
The primary dealers on the green were Fred and Kelly, a husband and wife who sold crops from the nearby farmers, Mack and Brownie, in addition to freshly slaughtered meats and poultry from Morfin of Paws. If asked about their customers, Kelly would discuss the growing class divide in Britannia, mentioning that purchasers from Paws often were willing to buy low-quality items which they could afford, whilst the Britons could afford to browse after a finer selection.[1]
The market was also home to a fish and chips vendor, Gordon, who had helped to popularize his signature dish throughout the capital, selling such take-away food to the likes of Lord British, himself.[2]

Trivia[edit]
- Many real world farmers' markets have a similar divide between clientele, with customers generally purchasing poorer quality and less expensive goods as the market approaches closing time. Several markets even foster a culture of gleaners and scavengers, who "clean up" the remaining scraps after hours.[3]
