Grendel's hut is the dwelling of the alchemist Grendel
Description[edit]
It is located south east of Cove. The hut is located in the middle of a swamp and therefore very difficult to reach, ensuring for Grendel that he could conduct his experiments in peace. In Ultima V, the Avatar visited the hut and learned that Grendel had accidentally turned himself into a giant rat, yet he was still able to tell the Avatar the formula of the spell. The hut had vanished by Ultima VI, revealing the entrance to the Swamp Cave.
