Bounce (or Bouncing) is a runic spell that allows the caster to safely rebound after jumping from a high place.

Spell Description

Bounce appears to have been created by the mage, Nystul, in the course of his experiments with runic magic. The spell imbues its caster with magical resilience, allowing him to bound upward into a jump after falling and thereby avoid any injury which might occur from a collision with the ground. A creative spellcaster may further utilize its powers to propel himself into hard to reach locations, although Nystul admits that many wizards would find its use undignified and recommended the Slow Fall spell instead..

Trivia

• A magically enchanted pair of Boots of Bouncing may be found on the world of Talorus, which have the same effect as this spell when being worn.
• The spell is highly useful to skip an especially cumbersome part of the secret vault of the Scintillus Academy.
