Bug Bomb

The bug bomb is an ancient weapon found in Savage Empire.

Description

The bug bomb essentially is a gas grenade that contains a special nerve gas that specifically attacks the brains of Myrmidex, killing them in no time flat. One just primes the grenade and throws it at the target. Due to the fact the gas is harmless to humans, there is no risk of friendly fire or accidents.

The weapon was developed in the ancient city of Kotl as one of their ways to control their creation, the Myrmidex, but in the end even that proved not to be enough and the Kotl were forced from their city, the weapons left behind to be forgotten. Many years later, when the Avatar entered Kotl, they found plenty of these gas grenades in good condition. They were later used to great effect in the Myrmidex Caves to clean out the way.

These objects are cylinders with distinctive green ends. They’re Kotl weapons designed to wipe out Myrmidex, and they’re devilishly effective. Use them like grenades (either throw them at Myrmidex, or use them, drop them, and run away) and they’ll fog the area with insecticide. Don’t worry too much if you’re caught in the effect; the gas is nasty, but not deadly, to humans.
