Dr. Rafkin creates the weapon

The Bamboo Flintrock is an improvised bamboo technology weapon in Savage Empire. It was devised by Dr. Rafkin and he is needed for the production of said weapons.

Description

After re-uniting with Dr. Rafkin, the Avatar's friend explained he could make various weapons from the things alone found in the valley of Eodon in order to not strain the limited supply of weapons from the modern world. For the creation of rifles, the bomboo flintrock, Dr. Rafkin needed a sturdy bomboo pole - either found in villages or cut of bomboo plants east off the Nahuatla Tribe- and he needed to be in his laboratory to have the needed tools to make the weapon.

Of course the weapons still needed ammunition, but thankfully, all the needed ingrdients were easily found in Eodon.

• Sulphur: Use the wire screen from the laboratory on the sulphur pools north of the Jukari Tribe.
• Charcoal: Cut wood off trees and use it on fires (like campfires).
• Potassium Nitrate: 'Use' crystals in caves to gain this, but Dr. Rafkin is needed for that to identify the mineral.

Once all of that is gathered, all ingredients have to be put into the mortar from the laboratory and then mixed properly with it, resulting in the creation of gunpowder. That esured a limitless supply of firearm ammunition in the primitive valley.
