In Sorcery, the Endure Heat spell is a protection against lava.
Spell Description[edit]
With the spell Endure Heat, the sorcerer creates a blue field that protects its caster from the thermal effects of the lava, thus the sorcerer can walk over the solid, orange lava without any ill-effects for 2–3 minutes. However, this only counts for solid lava. The molten, yellow lava is still deadly and will swallow up the sorcerer without mercy! Also this only works against lava. For protection against magical fire attacks, the spell Armor of Flames is needed.

- This is one of the three spells Vardion or Bane want the Avatar to create during the first test in his or her presence in order to become a Disciple.
- Besides that, it also is tested in the Obsidian Fortress and is plot-relevant to reach some areas.
