Create Golem is cast by a Necromancer to create a large earthen being to perform a small range of errands.

Spell Description[edit]

Casting this spell on a patch of dirt creates a golem as the Necromancer’s servant. The golem is all too willing to follow all of the caster's orders and can be used to either attack foes with massive power or open doors by using brute force. In battle the golem is next to indestructible and no door can withstand its powers. As long as the caster does not attack the golem, it will stay loyal and leave once being dismissed by the Necromancer.

This spell calls up a creature made of Earth, generally in the shape of a man, to perform the bidding of the caster. It follows a few terse commands, usually understanding statements to retrieve or open things.
The Hall is guarded by doors which no living creature may open. In order to gain entrance, you must raise a golem of the very element which is our lord, Lithos. Now listen carefully, for like the other Necromancers, I will only tell you this spell once. Blood, Bone, Wood, Dirt and Blackmoor. Say these words of power; In Ort Ylem Xen. Focus this magic upon a broad space of mud and the golem will be created. Seek out Stone Cove. You shall reach it by way of the catacombs. Once you have found Stone Cove, there you shall need to create your golem. Only the golem shall be able to open the door which shall stand before you.

Trivia[edit]

  • The golem can be used to open all and any door with brute force as long as dirt ground is available in the area and the golem can reach the door. This includes the Obsidian Fortress and Conventicle of the Dead, where the Heart of Earth can be found.
  • The spell is plot-relevant, since otherwise it is impossible to open the doors to reach Lithos.
