GOG Version[edit]
The GOG version of the book, compared to the version archived on replacementdocs, is missing most of the text on the first page. This section is titled Starting the Game and begins with a four step summary to install and launch the game from MS-DOS. The section then walks the player through the game introduction, title screen, main menu, and finally to the Create a Character option, continued in the next section on the next page. Both documents are identical from the second to the thirty second and last page, but the replacementdocs.com one has a copyright notice appearing after the last page that the GOG version does not have.
