Savage Empire Reference Guide
This is the reference guide coming with Savage Empire.
Description[edit]
Like with the reference guide for Ultima VI, this guide gives instructions on the start menus before going into detail about the interface of the game and what the various buttons do, as wel las what keyboard commands there exist. The guide also explains the stats, combat options and how magic in this game works without any of the frills of Ultimate Adventures. The actual installation instruction were for the first time outsourced into a separate start guide.
Other Editions[edit]
In the European market, the same reference guide was used, though another guide came with the game as well, which sports translations into German and French, but is the same content-wise. The Japanese PC-98 version from PonyCanyon has a new cover, but the content is the same, just translated to Japanese, and combined with the revised start guide.
The content of the guide was incorporated in translated form into the respective manuals of the Taiwanese and Korean versions.
