The release of Ultima VII Part Two was accompanied by a reference booklet.
Description[edit]
The guide for Ultima VII Part Two is very similar to that of Ultima VII, which is expected since they share a game engine. The cover provides a quick reference for basic gameplay controls. The following pages include a guide for the start options, a short walkthrough of the game's beginning, and then go into detail about the new user interface and its usage – including keyboard shortcuts. It also explains the spellbook, various character stats, and provides a detailed explanation of the combat options.
Other Editions[edit]
The reference guide was released in Europe in German, Spanish and French versions as well, though not as a combined guide. These versions were printed in monochrome, unlike the original, which featured red text.
The American and European editions of The Complete Ultima VII contained their respective reference guides without alteration. The later budget release combined these with the install guide into one booklet. In the European budget editions, the booklet was combined with the install guide and printed only in the language of the market where it was sold. The Australian budget release of the combined booklet is similar, but with a different form factor and cover.
