Wyrmguard armor is the protective regalia of the Guardian's Wyrmguard in Ultima IX.
Description[edit]
The armour of the Guaridan's troops is a sign of oppression. Nonetheless, the Avatar can actually use it as well without any consequences for the hero. However, the pieces are few and widely dispersed and cannot be recovered from slain Wyrmguards.

Trivia[edit]
- Wyrmguard leggings can be found in a hidden room off the Wyrmguard barracks in Destard.
- While Wyrmguard armor can be worn without consequence throughout the released game, in earlier drafts of Ultima IX – developed under Bob White's tenure as lead designer – the garb was to carry a stigma in Britannia and cause affront if equipped in the presence of Lord British and Geoffrey, who would escort the Avatar to the castle armory for more appropriate attire upon the king's urging. In this version of events, the dragon hide armor possessed a strong resistance to magic and emitted a sulfurous odor.[2]
