Antique armour

Antique armour is outmoded armour from times long gone, found in Ultima VII and Ultima VII Part Two.
Description[edit]
This armour provides good protection for the wearer and weighs ten stones. However, antique armour is, as the name indicates, very rare – even rarer than the more protective magic armour. Surprisingly, the goblins of the Serpent Isle seem to have a fondness for this type of armour, as it is occasionally found on their slain warriors.
Protective Value[edit]
- Antique armour provides a bonus of "3" defensive points – better than chain or scale, but not as good as plate.[1] It is not listed in Vetron's Guide to Weapons and Armour.

Trivia[edit]
- In Ultima VII, antique armour is silvery in color and looks like unenchanted magic armour (that is, without the magic aura). In Ultima VII Part Two, it is copper-colored.
