What is Ultima? Hail, traveler, and welcome to The Codex of Ultima Wisdom, the web's most comprehensive Ultima wiki. This online encyclopedia covers the series of computer role-playing games by Origin Systems, Inc. and Electronic Arts, and has grown to encompass all parts thereof as well as Ultima Online. What's New in the Codex (edit news) June 3rd, 2024 MediaWiki updated to 1.39.7. September 25th, 2018 A Kickstarter campaign is currently underway to fund the publication of Through the Moongate, Andrea Contato's comprehensive history of Origin Systems and Ultima development. February 25th–27th, 2017 After a successful Kickstarter campaign, the Ultima Dragons celebrate their 25th anniversary at Disneyland. The Codex of Ultima Wisdom is well represented, with several contributors in attendance! September 21st, 2016 The Ultima Dragons have launched a Kickstarter for their upcoming 25th Anniversary Bash at Disneyland. July 13th, 2016 Ultima artist Denis Loubet has created an "Ultima VII cover that never was" as part of his Patreon campaign. Featured article The Ultima Dragons are the largest Ultima fan club.
