Ultima Online: Charter Edition is a special version of the original release of Ultima Online in 1997 that was only available via pre-order from Origin.

Description

Less than 10,000 copies of this box were available for sale. It was notable for coming in a massive 18 x 12 x 1" box featuring Lord British's signature, which was even larger that the Ultima IX: Dragon Edition. In addition to the contents of the original release of Ultima Online, which included:

• A cloth map of Britannia in Ultima Online.
• A UO Pin.

The Charter Edition further included:

• A large print of the original Hildebrandt Ultima Online Poster
• The Ultima Online: Charter Edition Certificate
• 90 days gametime
