Ultima Online: Time of Legends is the tenth expansion for Ultima Online, being released in 2016.

Gameplay[edit]

After Mythic ended the co-operation, Electronic Arts gave support and further development of Ultima Online into the hands of Broadsword, and they developed this newest expansion. Ultima Online: Time of Legends draws inspiration from the classic single player game, Worlds of Ultima: The Savage Empire. Through the awesome power of the Time Lord, players are able to explore this new land and immerse themselves in a variety of new features. The expansion draws a lot upon old lore for new game content.

New Features[edit]

  • The dragon turtle Champion Spawn
  • Shadowguard, the fortress of the vile enchantress Minax
  • The Valley of Eodon, a new area to explore with new tameables, artifacts, armor sets, and hidden treasures
  • Skill Mastery System, 16 skills with more than 35 new spells & abilities
  • Expanded Stonecrafting to allow greater customization of player housing
  • 2 new housing tiles sets
  • New craftable clothing, including Tiger & Dragon Turtle inspired armor
  • 2 additional stable slots
  • As part of the Time of Legends, all players will benefit from updates to existing systems including, Spirituality & Humility virtues, completing the Virtue System
  • Revamped currency system to allow greater ease in storing and trading gold

Trivia[edit]

  • The name of the expansion plays upon the Time of Legends from Ultima II, which is fitting since, Minax and her castle do appear in this expansion.
  • On the cover, the background with the castle plays upon the back side of the Ultima II box.
  • The whole valley area was designed and built by just one person, which explains the smaller size and the - at times - choppiness of the area.
  • Coming with the game is a map of Eodon, though is just a retouched version of the original map, as seen in the gallery below.
