Treanna is the stable girl of Castle Britannia during the time of Ultima V.
Description[edit]
She told the Avatar that these were the best stables in Britannia, although business was lower ever since the disappearance of Lord British. She was very knowledgeable about horses, and after the Avatar revealed an interest in Valorian horses, she revealed that she'd heard of a talking horse and that the mage Bandaii in Paws should know more.[1]
Although Treanna had forgotten the horse's name, the Avatar of course knew that she meant Smith the Horse, and told her so. With her memory refreshed, she told the Avatar to seek him at Iolo's hut.
Ultima V: Lazarus[edit]

In Ultima V: Lazarus, Treanna could be found tending Lord British's stables. Treanna told the Avatar that her father had gotten sick when she was young, so she had to help out in the stables from a young age. When her father died, Biggs allowed her to stay on as stablemaster, although she admitted this position was unofficial with Lord British away. If the Avatar asked about purchasing a horse, Treanna remarked that they were only for the king and officials at the castle. When pressed more about horses, Treanna excitedly asked the hero to guess her favorite breed. If the Avatar told her Valorian, she became further excited, told of how she knew of a talking horse, but the Avatar had to guess its name. If the Avatar knew of Smith, the young girl told the hero a talking horse could be found at Iolo's hut.[2]
Treanna told the hero how she thought Lord British would return, even though her friend Desiree’s grandmother Margaret said the king had probably perished. Melaine told the Avatar how sometimes Treanna played with her in the park,[3] and Kurt, the young stablemaster in the Britannys, spoke of his jealousy that Treanne got to work with Valorian horses daily.[4]

In The Ultima 6 Project, a tombstone near the castle in Britain reads, "Treanna, young and fit and able, - Kept the Castle British stable. - 'Til came the time for her to die - And join the riders in the sky."
