Biggs is the steward of Castle Britannia in Ultima V: Lazarus.
With Lord British's disappearance in the Underworld, Biggs was tasked with running the daily affairs of the castle. Biggs was proud of the castle, and said how it was designed to be the greatest structure in the land, and to serve the people of Britannia. He felt there was no other building quite like it, except for perhaps Blackthorn's castle, a thought which he found distasteful. Biggs was confident Lord British would return despite Margaret's pessimism, and wished the Avatar would rescue him. If the Avatar spoke up as such, Biggs would admit that Blackthorn had cut all funds to the castle, and the treasury would dry up within the year. [1]
Biggs told the hero how he at first thought Blackthorn a nice man, who would frequently visit the castle, and was willing to talk at length with him. He noticed that with Lord British's disappearance, Blackthorn shut himself in the king's chambers, and would only meet with members of his Black Company. One time he even thought he heard an argument within the king's chambers, and when Biggs entered to mediate the feud, he found Blackthorn alone.
Biggs praised Weldon for his excellent job keeping the castle clean, but had little love for Chuckles, not understanding why Lord British had put him in charge of the Crown Jewels, blaming the jester for the loss of the Royal Sceptre. He heaped praise on Margaret's cooking and Treanna's prowess with horses.
