Weldon is the gardener at Castle Britannia in Ultima V: Lazarus.
Weldon had little interest in speaking the Avatar, and was annoyed by having his gardening disrupted by the hero. He told the Avatar how he kept the grounds and the fountains, and that a castle would soon deteriorate without constant maintenance. Weldon was proud of his work, and happily reminisced about when the castle was bustling, saying it was irresponsible for Lord British to go off adventuring in the Underworld, and even more so to leave Blackthorn in charge when he left. If asked about Saduj, who pretended to be a gardener at the castle, Weldon quickly stressed that there were no gardener by that name in the castle, and immediately worried that the steward, Biggs, was trying to replace him. He complained that Biggs felt himself better than everyone because he didn't get his hands dirty, and remarked that neither did Chuckles, who was certainly of no use.
