Kurt is a stable boy in the Britannys during the events of Ultima V.

He told the Avatar about his job of tending to the horses and grooming them, adding how it was hard and tedious work. He also was knowledgeable about horses and listed off the various breeds. Asked about Valorian Warhorses, Kurt said that his friend Treanna in Castle Britannia should know more about them.[1]

The son of Theoan at the The Stablehouse, Kurt was full of enthusiasm for the horses he tended and his job as stableboy. He talked enthusiastically about the breeds of horses, including ploughhorses, steppers, mountain breeds, and his favorite, Valorian Warhorses. He was genuinely jealous of his friend Treanna who worked at the stables in Castle Britannia, for she got to see Valorian Warhorses every day. He also talked about his friend Melaine, saying they used to play in the park, but now she thinks there is a ghost that haunts the well in Britain. Kurt was unwilling to talk about the fate of his father, who perished during The Night of the Black Gloves.[2]
