The Ring of Humility is one of the eight talismans of Sir Cabirus, representing the virtue of Humility.

Description[edit]

This ring was once worn by the simple Bill, who never wanted reward for his free work in the Royal Museum. It is a strong symbol of virtue. It appeared in Ultima Underworld, found in the fifth level of the Abyss, after the Avatar managed to solve the lever puzzle protecting it from mere plunderers.

It was later cast into the lava of the Abyss, in order to banish the Slasher of Veils.

Lore[edit]

Cover of a red book with high-density runic and a drawing of a snake.

This simple ring was worn by Bill, the humble son of Jenn. Bill labored at Lord British’s Museum of Oddities to repair and preserve the exhibits, yet never asked for reward.

Identification[edit]

Graphical portrait of a man in a blue hood with the white beard from the PSX version of Ultima Underworld.
That is the Ring of Humility. It has no magic powers, but still the Virtuous energy given it by Cabirus is undeniable.
