Transcript: Lady Sahra

Lady Sahra is a healer at The Healers Mission in Minoc during the events of Ultima V.

Description[edit]

She told the Avatar that sicknesses they'd thought defeated had returned (an effect of the presence of the Shadowlords). Lady Sahra further said that she now had to treat fewer injuries from skirmishes, praising Blackthorn’s martial law, and revealing that she felt the new regent was doing a great job maintaining order. She was disappointed if the Avatar disagreed with her.[1]

Ultima V: Lazarus[edit]

In Ultima V: Lazarus, Lady Sahra worked under Regina, the "medicus" at The Healers Mission, providing care for the sick. She admitted that she preferred to be called simply Sahra, but most people insisted on placing "Lady" in front of her name because her parents were of nobility. The young lady on the other hand felt that she deserved no such moniker, and wished to only treat the sick and poor of Britannia. She felt there was no such thing as noble birth, but only noble actions and deeds, and that people should be known only for what they do, not who their parents were. The healer did appreciate that her family's wealth allowed her to better serve the people of Minoc, though.[2]

Lady Sahra felt that with the imposition of martial law by Blackthorn and the Oppression, she now had to deal with fewer injuries from skirmishes between the Resistance and the Oppression, and most of her injured now were from accidents and encounters with the monsters that roam the land. The noblewoman felt Blackthorn had done a wonderful job under the circumstances, and that forcibly settling the arguments between opposing factions had been the only solution. She did notice that under Blackthorn's rule there had been an increase in cases of plague, and warned the hero to keep a fair distance from any rat encountered.

Lady Sahra laughed when told Delwyn’s rumor that she was interested in him,[3] stating that she had stopped giving him money when it was apparent he'd never use it to improve his life, and this was Delwyn's way of getting back at her. She said she only looked at him to ensure he wasn't coming down with any diseases, for he rarely visited The Healers Mission.

After Fiona fled Minoc with her daughter Rew,[4][5] Lady Sahra would apprehensively take control of the Poor House, and aid in its daily affairs.
