In Ultima V: Lazarus, Regina referred to herself as a "medicus", which was her way of saying she was a mage who poured most of her talents into the healing arts, which were her true passion. She noted that her close proximity to the Poor House, and that she was the only healer for some distance, ensured that she had constant business. Still, she felt that with Blackthorn in charge of Britannia, the Poor House had gone from being a place where the poor lingered waiting for death, to merely a congregation of the homeless.[1]
Regina told the Avatar that her assistant Lady Sahra was a great example of Humility, stating that the woman was actually from powerful nobility, but chose to work for free healing the sick and the injured. Regina felt she could not handle her heavy workload without Sahra's assistance.
