The Healers Mission is a healer in Minoc, the town of Sacrifice. This establishment appears during Ultima V and Ultima VI.
History[edit]
Opening up some time before the rise of Lord Blackthorn to the throne, it was run by Regina during Ultima V. During that time, healing and curing were free services, but resurrection was not. Twenty years later, in Ultima VI, The Healers Mission was run by the charitable Tara, but healing was no longer free – except for the penniless.
For unknown reasons, the Healers Mission closed down in the following centuries and by Ultima VII, Minoc no longer had a town healer.
Lore[edit]
“ | 'Tis a tribute to their unflagging generosity that even in these times of brutal oppression, none in need are ever turned away from the Healer's Mission and world's gold is never asked for the spirit's healing. |

“ | I tried going to Tara the healer for a hangover cure (I had had the foresight to bring a couple of full wineskins for my last visit), and instead got a lecture on how I should go meditate at the Shrine of Sacrifice out in the desert. Anyway, I left her with my head throbbing worse than before from the lecture! |
