Lord Dalgrin is the leader of the pirates of Buccaneer's Den during the events of Ultima V.

Dalgrin boasted gleefully about his sailing and plundering. He also hinted to the Avatar to buy Tierra a drink in order to have her give the hero information.[1]
Ultima V: Lazarus[edit]

In Ultima V: Lazarus, Lord Dalgrin presented himself as the Lord of Buccaneer's Den, saying it was fitting since other lands have a Lord to rule them, why not The Den. He proclaimed that he used to be one of the most famous merchants in all of Britannia, while the Avatar’s companions quickly corrected the braggart by saying he was a pirate and smuggler, which Dalgrin admitted was partially true, although, he disliked the term. Dalgrin told the hero that he had helped supply Britannians with the goods they desired, sometimes of an exotic nature, and this had required the occasional bribe, blackmail, and intimidation. He also admitted to have plundered the occasional honest merchant, and sold of their goods and ships as well.[2]
The boastful pirate told the hero that he owned the most of the island, and that Bidney worked directly for him, and he also worked with Landon, much to the distaste of Geoffrey.[3] He told the Avatar he had even sailed past Dagger Isle, where he left an old card cheat named Benjamin, and sailed the Cape of Heroes to pay his respects to HMS Cape.
With the coming of Lord Blackthorn, his business had suffered terribly, so he was unable to bribe his officials like he had been able to with the previous Councillor of Britannia, Windemere. Even worse, Seggallion the pirate had turned traitor and Blackthorn's captain Herrick had hunted down and destroyed many of his ships, for which Seggallion had been rewarded his own island, while Lord Dalgrin had his ship the Sea Fox sunk. Lord Dalgrin asked the hero if he was ever in Farthing to ask his spy Jaron if there was "still gold in the dead man's chest", which Daem interpreted as meaning would Seggallion leave the Oppression and join Lord Dalgrin again.[4][5]
If the Avatar met Lord Dalgrin outside of The Fallen Virgin, he was willing to talk about the various citizens of Buccaneer's Den, and would reveals that Tierra was quite willing to talk to any stranger as long as they bought her a drink.
At first Lord Dalgrin was unwilling to lend David one of his ships and crew to run goods from Greyhaven to Serpent's Hold,[6] believing the blockade kept Blackthorn’s men busy. He quickly decided though, that if it hastened the fall of the Oppression and put him in good standing with the Resistance it might be worth it. In order to set up such a supply route, he demanded a map of the waters near Serpent's Hold, a small island currently owned by Lord Malone, and freedom from prosecution sighed by Geoffrey, should Lord British return.
After speaking to Daem, Lord Dalgrin would admit he sold Enlor’s apprentice Alfred to Waveguide for experimentation.
Lord Dalgrin was willing to sell the hero leaf for 200gp.
