Lucy is the owner and proprietor of the Blue Boar Tavern in Britain in Ultima VII.
Description[edit]
A vivacious woman in her fifties, Lucy thoroughly enjoyed her work as a tavernkeeper, having inherited the historic Blue Boar from her grandfather. Fond of food, drink and company, Lucy was enthusiastic about meeting new people – particularly men of action. Like many restaurateurs of that time, she was quick to recommend the newly popular Silverleaf meal, and would encourage the hero to stop by to hear the house band, 'The Avatars.'[1]
Should the Avatar undertake the task of speaking to Lucy's employee, Jeanette, regarding her suitor, Charles, Lucy would interject herself into the conversation if present – telling the flighty barmaid that the current object of her affections, Willy the baker, was not nearly as fine a catch as the modest castle valet.

Trivia[edit]
- Lucy's portrait and name are based on Lucy Sarvis, a winner of the Ultima VI Immortality Contest.[2]
- Should Dupre be in the party while talking to Lucy, he and the barkeeper will flirt with one another.[1]
- Given that Lucy's ownership of the Blue Boar is hereditary, it may be possible that she and Nastassia of Cove are distant relations, given that Nastasssia's great-great-great grandparents were also proprietors of the tavern.
- In the SNES-port of Ultima VII, Lucy speaks little to the hero, directing them instead to go and seek out their old friend Shamino. She will, if asked, air her views on the Fellowship, which she regards as strange but does not particularly mind.[3]
