Ultima III jigsaw puzzle
From Ultima Codex
(Redirected from Ultima III Jigsaw Puzzle)
This jigsaw puzzle is one of the more puzzling and bizarre trinkets released with an Ultima game.
Description[edit]
When Ultima III was released in 1983 for computers in Japan by StarCraft, the game came with a very curious trinket. It was a box (bigger than the game box), containing a 550 pieces jigsaw puzzle of 490 x 350 mm, with the finished picture being the Ultima III map of Sosaria, which also was included in the box itself.
It is not known how Origin or StarCraft (the responsibilities are unknown) got this idea, although the puzzle is an exact copy of the map.
