Lord Terence is the librarian of the Lycaeum's collections during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
The Stranger could meet Terence within the Keep of Truth's library, which the tall official would proudly describe as the largest store of knowledge in Britannia, outside of the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom. If having consulted with Father Antos, the hero would know to ask Terence of Book of Truth and the librarian would advise looking under the "T" section in the stacks.[1]
Lore[edit]
“ | Be sure to pay your respects to my most favored patron, the Lord Terence, and to visit the Britannia Observatory whilst thou art within this citadel of learning. A word with my good friend Scatu may also prove helpful. – from The Way of the Avatar (Ultima IV)

Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Lord Terence can be identified with the white mage in the same room. Instead of giving further information about the Book of Truth, he expresses his joy for discovering the recipe for the Negate spell.[2]
