Lightning wands may be found at the following locations in Ultima VI:

• Castle Britannia, inside a chest in Nystul’s room.
• Castle Britannia, inside the chest of Phoenix in the lower levels of the sewers beneath the castle.
• In the Dungeon Destard.
• Moonglow, inside a magically locked chest in the house of Penumbra. Beware of the two skeletons!
• Moonglow, in the house of Xiao.
• New Magincia, in Katrina’s house, inside a crate.
• Pirate Cave, inside the pirate's treasure room on level four.
• Yew, inside one of the secret rooms at Nicodemus house, behind his crystal ball.

Ultima VII

Lightning wands may be found at the following locations in Ultima VII:

• Buccaneer's Den, in Glenno's desk at 84°S 67°E.
• Cyclops Cave, inside a chest at 30°S 52°E.
• Deep Forest, inside a backpack at 62°N 30°W.
• Isle of the Avatar, in possession of a mage at Throne of Change at 136°S 165°E.
• New Magincia, inside the storehouse of Alagner.
• In the dungeon Shame, Selwyn’s hideout, inside a chest at 5°S 24°W.
• In the dungeon Shame on a corpse of a mage at 20°S 37°W.
• Terfin, inside a crate in Inforlem's back room at 177°S 114°E.

Ultima VII (SNES)

Lightning rods may be found at the following location in the SNES-port of Ultima VII:

• Pirate Cave.

Ultima Underword II

Lightning wands may be found at the following locations in Ultima Underworld II:

• Castle Britannia, in possession of headless at the northern parts of level four of the sewers.
• Pits of Carnage, it is rumoured that an arm of a dire reaper in the lower dungeons can be used as a wand of lightning.

Ultima VII Part Two

Lightning wands may be found at the following locations in Ultima VII Part Two

• Monk Isle, Ophidian ruins.
• Moonshade, in possession of Filbercio, can be gained with Vibrate.
• Spinebreaker, Temple of the Hierophant^{[Clarification needed]} at 39°N 96°E.
• Secret room in mines at the Northern Forest, secret passage found in eastern tunnel.
• Chest inside Aram-Dol’s treasure chamber.
